We have had a few people ask about the changes concerning images for subscribing members and how does collusion (Rule 6) figure into the scope of things.
By saying that members should not collude we are not talking about a friend Liking another friend's entry. We are looking to the future where the top Like could be worth a considerable sum, say $15,000 (£10,000) A myth? Not at all; this is part of our marketing strategy and a way of distributing funds amongst our readers.
When sums of money this large are up for grabs then it would be worthwhile for people to form syndicates and edge everybody out of the game! That sum is just for the first Like so it means the total for two periods would be worth $60,000 in a month. That would attract a lot of interest.
A photo image against a paid subscriber membership is not required right now, however, it would be a security measure in the future to try and stop any syndicates from forming.
So there is nothing sinister about collusion or images in the rules, just some sort of protection we envisage in the future. Right now we are happy and would expect friends to vote for each other.
